Education

My education is going to be a little spaced out, as I am going into the Air-Force. I am going to San Antonio Texas during the fall and won’t get back for 5 months. Then when I come back I am going to enroll in the Kaskaskia nursing program, I picked the Kaskaskia nursing program as I have heard and seen such high ratings on the course. Many people have accomplished so much from just going to this community college. With this course though you do have to pass a placement test to get in. You do have to get atlas a 60% on this placement test, the downside is, you can only take it twice a year. Once you pass you are automatically signed up for the nursing program and they will send you letter telling you whether you start in the fall or spring of that year. Some of classes are 8 weeks and some are 12 weeks long. Keeping up with the program can be difficult, you have to pass each class with a 80% or higher no matter what. Later on down the line, I am hoping to then get my BSN. While I am going to be in the Air-Force, I will be in the reserves, which mean I will not be sent overseas. I am going to travel though and might work in a different country to learn how they do things.
